The lines from Alexander Pushkin's poem "Eugene Onegin" of when Tatiana arrived in Moscow are resonating in my mind. The balconies, lions on the gates and flocks of jackdaws on the crosses of churches. I tried to imagine the scenery that she saw and put on the canvas.
